CKSUM ERR(checksum error)

Posted on 19.11.09 by Pauseoff

Cause: 1) When computer boot then POST(Power On Self Test) BIOS’s Every byte read occure and checksum value generates. If the Checksum value, not zero(0) then this CKSUM ERR(checksum error) comes.

Bios_socket

 2) For system board bad Address or data line if data line/address line is not properly read from BIOS then this CKSUM ERR(checksum error) comes. So C.P.U gets wrong information.

How to solve this problem?
Bios_chip

: First u have to check BIOS CHIPS that it is properly set in the system board or any pin is damaged or n’t.If there is any damage to the pins then IC Socket will not get the proper connection. So u have to properly set the BIOS chips to the socket. If it doesn’t work then u might have to change the BIOS chip.
